On 29-30 August 2024 the delegation of Tajikistan headed by the Head of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Jamshed Homidzoda participated in the 50th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Yaoundé, Republic of Cameroon.

During his speech, Mr. Jamshed Homidzoda presented the position of the Republic of Tajikistan on a wide range of issues faced by the Islamic Ummah.

Expansion of economic and trade ties among OIC countries were mentioned as one of the important factors in addressing economic and social problems in the Islamic world.
