On April 25, 2023, in the framework of visit to the People’s Republic of China Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Muhriddin met with the leadership of the Ministry of Commerce of China, Co-Chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and China Lin Qi.

At this meeting, the parties paid special attention to the current state and prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and China in various areas of the national economy, timely and high-quality implementation of strategic projects.

Strengthening cooperation in the areas of digitalization of economy and trade, investment, science and technology, energy, transport, industry, tourism, education, etc. was recognized as important.

The parties considered it expedient to activate the Tajik-Chinese intergovernmental commission and implement its protocols.
