On October 15, 2023 Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Sultanate of Oman Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda during his working visit to Oman met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa al-Harthy.

 

 

 

During the meeting, issues related to the current situation and prospects for strengthening relations between Tajikistan and Oman in the political, economic, trade, investment, energy, tourism, industry, air communication, fortifying the contractual and legal basis, as well as cooperation between the two countries in the framework of international and regional organizations and other topics of mutual interest were discussed.

On March 29, 2023, meeting of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda was held with Deputy Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman Saleh Musan.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the establishment of mutually beneficial relations in the fields of trade, industry and investment, and also discussed issues related to the possibility of restoring direct cooperation between the business circles, traders and investors of Tajikistan and Oman.

On the same day, meeting of Deputy Minister was held with Deputy Minister of Heritage and Tourism of the Kingdom of Oman Azzan bin Qasim Al-Busaidi.

 

 

 

During the meeting, the issue of establishing cooperation between tourism institutions and tour companies of the two countries was discussed in order to promote tourism products and services, implementation of joint projects in the field of hotel business and management of tourist facilities.

Second round of political consultations with the Sultanate of Oman

On 28 March 2023, the second round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Sultanate of Oman was held in Muscat. The delegations of the parties were headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda and the Under Secretary for Diplomatic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy.

 

 

 

 

 

In consultations issues related to the current state and prospects for development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Oman in political, economic, trade, investment, energy, tourism, agriculture, industry, as well as strengthening the legal basis, cooperation of the two countries in the framework of international and regional organizations and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.

Moreover, the sides noted the importance of establishing high-level contacts and exchange of visits in the development of bilateral cooperation.

On 3 February, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Tajikistan (with residence in Tehran) Ibrahim bin Ahmed al- Muaini.

At the beginning of the meeting Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman handed over the massage of the His Majesty Haysam bin Toriq Oli Sayid, the Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, addressed to the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of the Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Oman.
